Ginataang Tilapia With Pechay Recipe

  • Tilapia
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk 
  • 2 cups coconut milk for boiling (squeezed the milk from the gata the second time)
  • magic sarap
  • pechay or bokchoy
  • salt and pepper 
  • chopped garlic
  • chopped onion
Ginataang Tilapia With Pechay Recipe

  1. Arrange the tilapia in a saucepan.
  2. Put the garlic, onion and magic sarap.
  3. Pour the 2 cups of coconut milk for boiling.
  4. Boil the tilapia in a slow fire as not to break the fish. 
  5. Add the pechay or bokchoy on top.
  6. Add the thick coconut milk.
  7. Let it simmer for few minutes. 
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Using a spoon or spatula, carefully mix it.
