Grilled Flank Steak With Chimichurri Sauce Recipe


Chimichurri Sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 T red wine vinegar
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 T (heaping) minced garlic
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
Flank Steak
  • 1 1/2 pound flank steak (preferably grass fed)
  • salt and pepper
  1. Chimichurri Sauce
  2. Combine all ingredients into a mini food processor (or blender)
  3. Process until sauce is formed
  4. Flank Steak
  5. Season the steak with salt and pepper
  6. Place on grill set to medium/high heat
  7. Grill 5-6 minutes and flip, grill another 5-6 minutes for a medium rare meat (I cooked mine longer)
  8. Remove from grill and let sit for 5 minutes before cutting
