Meaty Chicken Nuggets Recipe


For Nuggets:

  • Breast of 1 whole chicken, deboned
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon calamansi juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper 
  • All purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten 
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil

For Dipping Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise 
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 to 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Tenderize chicken breast by pounding with a mallet or the back a knife or by rolling meat tenderizer over it. Combine soy sauce, calamansi juice and pepper and marinate chicken for about 30 minutes.
  2. Cut chicken breast into rectangualar pieces about 1 ½ by 1 inch.
  3. Coat each piece with flour.
  4. Dip each piece in eggs then inbreadcrumbs. Make sure the coating is even but not too thick.
  5. Heat cooking oil in frying pan. Deep fry chicken until golden brown. Serve with dipping sauce.

To Make the dipping Sauce:

  1. Mix together mayonnaise, garlic, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
